About the role:
We are hiring a senior engineer to join our early stage start-up. You will play a significant role in Qolaba’s AI infrastructure setup as you will be the first engineer in our ML team with the following key responsibilities:
- Building ML workflows and infrastructure at on-premise or cloud to productize Proof of
- Concept (PoC) AI models and sustain them in production
- Design and setup company’s ML infrastructure
- Work with the team to identify and develop scalable machine learning processes and
- tools.
- Manage the technical execution of the project, coordinate with the qolaba team
- members.
- Lead the R&D and technical execution of machine learning projects end to end.

We are expecting basic knowledge in some of the following research areas:
- Text-to-scene conversion system. Computer graphics and interactive techniques
- 3d-aware image synthesis.
- Representing scenes as neural radiance fields
- Application of denoising autoencoders, diffusion models (DMs)
- High- resolution complex scene synthesis with transformers
- Neural Radiance Field (NeRF)
- Generate vector graphics from a textual description
- Text-controlled creation of 3d textured meshes
- Zero-shot text-to-image generation
Qualifications:
- PhD or Masters or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in developing a product based on machine learning research or
- equivalent contributions to an open-source project is a huge plus
- Experience with building, training and optimizing neural networks
- Hands-on expertise with one or more deep learning frameworks (Pytorch, Tensorflow,
- etc)
- Strong programming skills in python or C++
- Geometric computer vision, object or scene understanding, multi-view geometry
- Solid foundation in 3D Computer Vision and Computer Graphics
- CUDA programming, and a real passion for optimizing system performance
- Generative modeling for images and videos, neural rendering, or related techniques
