About:
This MERN Developer will be working primarily for the Marketplace website. The Developer should possess strong capabilities in MERN technologies. The Developer’s primary responsibility is understanding requirements and building new and maintaining existing sites. They should be able to work on the front end and backend.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in requirements gathering and technical planning to design solutions that meet company needs
- Create clean, well-documented, efficient, and standards-compliant code with an eye toward performance optimization
- Define, design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance applications and tools written in React, Express, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other languages.
- Actively troubleshoot and support applications in production– critical environments
- Troubleshoot production application issues under pressure and define a path to resolve them
- Implement and maintain MERN development standards and best practices
- Work with the Project Managers, System Analyst, and Business Analyst to understand the business/application requirements of the assigned task
- Take responsibility for delivering development tasks within agreed budgets and timelines
- Any other tasks as reasonably required
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelors/Master’s Degree in a computer-related field
- Minimum 4+ years experienced in MERN Development
- Strong working knowledge of Typescript, MongoDB, MySQL, Express
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model, ES6
- Hands-on experience in React JS
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3
- Strong understanding of NodeJS fundamentals
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Familiar with Deployment in Azure
- Capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously
- Should be able to understand and handle tasks independently
- Should know git version control
