About:
This Magento Backend Developer will be working primarily for Retail and B2B E-commerce website. The Developer should possess strong capabilities in Magento, php framework, MySQL. Developer’s primary responsibilities to understand requirements and build new and maintain existing E-commerce website. Developer should have capabilities to develop custom module, apis etc. The developer should able to work on frontend and backend customization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in requirements gathering and technical planning to design solutions that meet company needs
- Create clean, well-documented, efficient, and standards-compliant code with an eye towards performance optimization
- Define, design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance applications and tools written in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and other languages, as necessary
- Develop custom modules for integration into ERP, accounting, fulfilment, and marketing systems
- Actively troubleshoot and support applications in production-critical environments
- Troubleshoot production application issues under pressure and define a path to resolve them
- Implement and maintain Magento development standards and best practices
- Work with the Project Managers, System Analyst, Business Analyst to understand the business / application requirements of the assigned task
- Take responsibility for delivering development tasks within agreed budgets and timelines
- Any other tasks as reasonably require
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelors/Master Degree in computer related field
- Minimum 1.5+ years experienced Magento2 backend developer.
- Understand the Magento 2 code structure, quick in debugging and fixing the issues
- Should have Strong PHP, MYSQL, OOPS concept
- Should have strong knowledge of OOPS, MVC architecture
- Must have Extension installation, and configurations, frontend, and backend customization knowledge
- Should have knowledge of API Development
- Should have graphQL knowledge
- PWA experience is an advantage
- Understanding of theme integration
- Should have worked with Payment gateway and 3rd Party integration
- Upgrading Magento versions and themes, version upgrade and setting cron jobs
- Magento Certification is plus
- Should possess good communication skills
- Ability to debug errors efficiently and effectively
- Capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously
- Capable of testing one’s own work
- Should be able to understand and handle tasks independently
